Following the decision between Germany and China on the intent of the “development of sport in both countries through information exchange and mutual support in a national and international level” in 2008, the General Administration of Sport of China and the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Germany, organised a series of symposia between 2009 and 2011. Topics included among others, sport medicine, sports law, sport psychology and sport policies in both countries.
