In a rapidly globalizing world, cultivating a community of innovation and entrepreneurship is vital for addressing global challenges. This paper explores the ECONUTRI project as a model for building a global community of innovation and entrepreneurship. By showcasing successful long-term collaborations, it demonstrates the impact of cross-border partnerships in driving lasting innovation. Additionally, the paper examines the project's phased exploitation strategy for transitioning research into market-ready solutions, illustrating how Areas of Innovation (AOIs), Innovation Districts (IDs) and Science and Technology Parks (STPs) can leverage shared knowledge and business incubation to address global challenges and promote sustainable development.
